In commemoration of Israel’s 75th
anniversary, this masterfully recreated
print was produced using the same
printing techniques that were
used on that historic day –
May 16th, 1948.

A Limited Edition print run, these 19” x 25”prints were hand-printed one sheet at a time on a rare and vintage letterpress printing press, using a magnesium plate etched in acid in the same way it was done 75 years ago. Faithfully reproduced using traditional film, the prints capture all the nuances of the original newspaper - including font variations and alignment – and down to the tiniest details of the original Linotype letterforms.
